Will the Ridgeline fit above my table?
At 90 cm wide, the Ridgeline is ideal above a dining table or kitchen island seating four to six. As a guide, centre it over the table and leave roughly 15–20 cm of table on either side of the fixture. We always recommend measuring your space first — see the dimensions image for full measurements.
How low does it hang, and can I adjust the height?
Yes. The Ridgeline hangs on adjustable cables with a drop of up to 120 cm, and you can shorten them to suit your ceiling. Above a dining table, we recommend hanging it 75–90 cm above the tabletop. If you have a sloped or raked ceiling, email us before ordering and we'll advise on the best setup.
Is it bright enough for a dining table?
Yes. The integrated LED gives bright, even, warm-white light that works beautifully as the main light source over a dining table or island. For layered lighting, it pairs well with downlights or wall lights. You'll find the exact output in the specifications above.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
The Ridgeline is a hard-wired fixture, so we recommend installation by a licensed electrician — it's a quick job for a professional and ensures everything is safe and to standard. Please note: don't install the fixture until you're completely happy with it, as installed items can't be returned.
The LED is built in — what if it ever stops working?
The integrated LED is long-life and rated for many years of everyday use, so there are no globes to replace. In the rare event of a fault, you're covered by our warranty and by the Australian Consumer Law — just email us and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund.
Will the finish look like the photos?
We photograph the Ridgeline as true to life as possible. Keep in mind that any finish can look slightly different depending on your room's natural and artificial light. If you'd like to double-check before buying, email us and we're happy to help.
Does it work with Australian wiring?
Yes. The Ridgeline runs on 220–240V and is designed for standard Australian wiring, installed by a licensed electrician.
